Overview
As part of the ANPU project conducted an eye screening camp at St.Peter’s School for the Mentally Challenged under the Aegis of KSOS and TOC.Dr.Maya Menon from Sree Nethra eye hospital and Dr.Mini Mathew ,assoc professor ,Dr.Sai ,junior resident from RIO led the team.The optometry team from RIO and Santhi ,Eyebank coordinator did the initial vision screening. 40 students and 5 teachers were examined and have called 7 students for follow up and treatment.It was a novel experience for our entire team to interact with the teachers and understand the quality of care they give to the kids.
